Essays to help revise for Different Cultures poems

Your knowledge of the 'different culture poems' will be tested in the English Lanagauge examination on Thursday 4th June in Papaer II section A.  You will have 45 minutes to write about two poems. 

Here are some resources which may help you.

Easter revision activity to help you with Literature examination poetry

The following are some exercises to help you with revising for the Literature examination.  There are organisational activities and there are past papers to help you. 

Literature examination Poems: A model essay with the title: 'Compare and contrast one pre 1914 poem with one poem by Duffy and one poem by Armitage where the central character is dysfunctional '

This is an example of the type of essay you should be aiming to write. There are also activities at the end of the essay to help you revise and some key phrases you might like to learn.
